The Museum of Making Music invites you to join us for a very special "Play It Forward" benefit concert featuring the talents of guitarist Albert Lee and slide guitarist Cindy Cashdollar. Albert and Cindy will be backed by a stellar band featuring: J.T. Thomas on keys, Will McGregor on bass, and drummer Jason Harrison Smith.

The event features a world-class performance at a world-class venue, The Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall, in Sorrento Valley.

Albert Lee

GRAMMY Award-winning British guitarist, multiple recipient of Guitar Player magazine's "Best Country Guitarist" and celebrated by fans and musicians the world over for his hybrid picking technique.

Known for his use of the Fender Telecaster, signature Ernie Ball guitar and lightning speed playing, Albert has not only worked in the studio and on tour with some of the biggest names in world music, but he has also maintained a successful solo career of his own.

Cindy Cashdollar

Dobro, steel guitar and lap steel player Cindy Cashdollar's career has taken some surprising twists and turns that have led her to work with many leading artists in various genres; including Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Dave Alvin, Rod Stewart, Albert Lee, Asleep At The Wheel, Marcia Ball, Jorma Kaukonen, Leon Redbone, BeauSoleil, Daniel Lanois, Redd Volkaert & Peter Rowan.

Purpose

The Museum of Making Music provides over $100,000 annually to fund a variety of education outreach programs. These programs impact thousands of adults, seniors, students, and children from a variety of economic and cultural backgrounds. This benefit concert supports these quality educational programs by offsetting the annual costs of operating these initiatives, as well as interactive instrument upgrades to the Museum.

Irwin M. Jacobs Qualcomm Hall is a state-of-the-art, 534-seat concert and performance venue located in Sorrento Valley operated by Qualcomm. The facility features premium acoustics and comfortable seating. A dedicated 700-space parking garage makes this venue easily accessible and user friendly.

The seating format is open seating within each level. First-come, first-served.
