We're grateful to announce a generous equipment donation from Audio-Technica. The company recently donated a large supply of ATH-M40x professional studio monitor headphones to the museum, continuing a tradition of support that has made a real impact on the visitor experience here at MoMM.
It's no secret that running an interactive museum means our equipment sees a lot of action. With the level of foot traffic we welcome each week, headphones in particular take a lot of well-intentioned wear and tear. Having professional-grade headsets available across the museum floor ensures that every visitor gets to experience our exhibits the way they were meant to be heard, and Audio-Technica's ongoing generosity has made that possible time and time again.
The ATH-M40x headphones are in use throughout our Sit & Play interactive areas, where visitors are invited to pick up an instrument and make some noise. Whether someone is experimenting with our DJ Station, exploring the sounds of a digital piano, getting their hands on a Theremin, or unleashing some energy on our electronic drum set, they can do it with great audio quality in their ears. The headphones are also available at our Global Spotlight exhibit, where visitors use a large touchscreen to explore instruments and musical traditions from cultures around the world, a listening experience that really comes alive with a good pair of headphones.
We're deeply thankful to Audio-Technica for their continued investment in the museum and their belief in what we do. Donations like this one go a long way toward creating the kind of hands-on, immersive environment that keeps visitors coming back.
