For over a decade, The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys have logged serious miles bringing their hard-charging, true-blue bluegrass to stages across America. Grammy-nominated for Toil, Tears & Trouble (Best Bluegrass Album, 2019) and repeatedly nominated by the International Bluegrass Music Association for Entertainer of the Year, the band has built a reputation for music that’s as honest as it is energetic. As bandleader C.J. Lewandowski puts it: “We live what we play and sing about.”
The band is currently touring behind Wanderers Like Me, whose title track hit No. 1 on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart. This latest chapter brings fresh energy to their live show, with new members guitarist John Gooding (California) and fiddler Max Silverstein (Maine) joining Lewandowski (mandolin), Jereme Brown (banjo), and Jasper Lorentzen (bass) for a lineup that spans generations and geography — and a stage sound full of the interplay and chemistry that comes with it.
Expect a night of genuine, forward-driving bluegrass from a band that, in Lewandowski’s words, takes the music “and puts it where bluegrass isn’t.”
