  • Description

Dr. Molly Miller shares her experiences and the balance between being a respected music educator and in-demand musician.

Since Dr. Miller picked up a guitar at age seven, she’s been captivating audiences with her sophisticated and raw style. Now 28, Miller is the chair of the Guitar Department at Los Angeles College of Music. She’s one of Los Angeles’s most sought-after musicians, recording and touring with artists such as Jason Mraz and The Black Eyed Peas. She’s played for thousands at the Hollywood Bowl, Telluride Music Festival, and Planeta Atlantida. When she’s not on tour, Miller heads her own trio, featured on NPR’s Fresh Air.
