Every day at the Museum of Making Music is a chance to celebrate music and music making, but four times a year, we extend that celebration even further through our Community Music Days.
This month, we’re offering something for kids, families, and adults as we participate, in our own way, in Make Music Winter, a global celebration of music making. Join us on Sunday, December 21 for a day filled with hands-on exploration and joyful sound.
Bring the young people in your life and guide them through our interactive Sound Science stations! We’ll be making music in some wonderfully creative ways. Have you ever played a musical scale on fruit? Have you ever heard music come from your arm?
Here’s your chance!
In the afternoon, enjoy a free concert featuring two outstanding San Diego–based ensembles: Left Coast Quintet and Westwind Brass. Space is limited, so RSVPs are required.
Spread the word (or chord!)—Community Days at the Museum of Making Music are free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us for a day of curiosity, creativity, and community.
