Join us for the debut of ARP: The Innovator, The Instruments, The Impact, a new special display celebrating the life, legacy, and lasting influence of Alan R. Pearlman, founder of ARP Instruments.
Curated by guest curator Brian Kehew, expert in vintage synthesizer history and technology, this retrospective explores ARP’s revolutionary contributions to music, technology, and creativity. Developed in collaboration with The Alan R. Pearlman Foundation, the display brings together rare instruments, historic media, and firsthand stories from artists and innovators.

- Rupert Greenall - founding member of THE FIXX, which was formed in 1980. The band is still writing, recording and touring with the original members. In addition to his decades in The Fixx, Rupert has also joined forces with two other musicians drummer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney, Tears for Fears) and Eric The Taylor. The ensemble is called The Fragile Fate. Rupert has recorded with Earth, Wind and Fire, Nick Kershaw, Jaz Coleman (Killing Joke), Reggae producer writer and bass player Dennis Bovell amongst others.
- Robin Hatch – composer, multi-instrumentalist, and experimental musician known for her innovative use of synthesizers in both solo and collaborative work. With a background in classical piano and a career spanning rock, pop, and avant-garde genres, Hatch has become increasingly recognized for her explorations in electronic music. Her work often features vintage analog synths, including the rare and iconic TONTO synthesizer, which she used prominently on her 2021 album T.O.N.T.O.. Through her bold integration of complex synthesizer systems and melodic sensibility, Hatch has carved out a unique space at the intersection of experimental and accessible electronic music.
- Steve McQuarry (Synsor) – Composer, Arranger, Orchestrator, Synthesist and Visualist, Steve has performed with distinguished artists such as the late Dizzy Gillespie, Clare Fischer, Louie Bellson, Red Rodney (Charlie Parker), Tom Scott, the late John Cage, Laurie Anderson, Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Herbie Hancock, Frank Zappa), Nathan East (Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock, Bob James), Bill Rich (Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Miles, Taj Mahal) and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Steve is also the owner of Mandala Records and SMP productions. For the Electronic music projects, Steve works under the moniker, Synsor.
