The Museum of Making Music, a Division of the NAMM Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to breaking down barriers that prevent access to music. Whether it’s an in-school music program, adult or youth group lessons, a tour through the Museum galleries or attending an educational concert, we aspire to cultivate a community where all are welcome to our place of learning. By supporting the Museum you are opening these doors to music making.
- We provided weekly hands-on music learning to 800 students during their school day at a subsidized cost of $28,000.
- Over 140 adults were inspired and motivated through playing music in a group setting every week; 3,775 people experienced educational performances; 69 students attended music camp.
- Over 6,000 students—many of whom come from economically disadvantaged communities—participated in trips to the Museum to explore their potential. Nearly half of these students received free subsidized tours of the Museum.
- 30,556 new friends and guests toured our Museum, unifying our community to experience music together.
When you support the Museum of Making Music, you are making a difference, making connections, and making the world a more musical place for thousands of students, adults and visitors each year.
Our programs offer opportunities to explore, discover, engage and embrace music and music making on an intimately personal level. No matter where you choose to give, your donation will make a direct impact!
