Renovation Week 5: Magic Carpet Ride

Many changes occurred during week 5 of the Renovation Project!  The fifth gallery and special exhibition space are looking more complete each day.

Among other things is the installation of carpeting throughout the renovated spaces.  The carpeting clearly creates an aesthetic that differentiates the space from the rest of the museum.

Of course, many OTHER things had to be completed prior to installing the carpet tiles.  Wiring, cable runs, creating smooth surfaces on the floor, moving lighting around, etc.

Soon we'll be getting ready for the installation of the new interactive elements!
