The Museum of Making Music presents a series of concerts and performance in conjunction with the special exhibition, "The Art of the Stompbox."  The exhibition is on display at the Museum from June 2010 through September 2010.

This  programming has been done with a view to explore the philosophy and art of using guitar effects pedals in contemporary music. Programs bring together the foremost artists in this area as well as a new generation of talented composers and musicians who expand the existing paradigms in the use of guitar pedals into the future. Intimate performances with demonstrations and discussions also explore and sample the use of guitar pedals in application to other brass, wind, and stringed instruments of the orchestra.
