Lend a helping hand! The Museum relies heavily on the support of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers work as docents, gallery attendants, store clerks, event staff and office support. Each brings years of knowledge and care, which could not be found elsewhere. By joining the volunteer team, you are not only helping the Museum achieve its mission, you are gaining a support system. Volunteers have monthly meetings, education sessions and annual appreciation events. All are welcome to apply to be a volunteer. We currently have over 60 active volunteers whose ages range from 16 to 86! The first step in becoming a volunteer is our training program, Museum 101. The next training begins Tuesday, March 16th from 10 am - 12 pm. The training is a six week course.
