Corporate Events at the Museum of Making Music

Inspiration can come from many sources: the gentle breeze along a coastal wayside, the warm glow of an evening sunset or the jazzy resonance of a grand piano. At the Museum of Making Music, our inspiration is obvious at first sight.

Our facility, with its spectacular panoramic view of Carlsbad and the Pacific Ocean, features 6,500 square feet of musical history and nostalgia that is sure to strike a chord at your next company party or special event.

We can accommodate up to 150 guests in a comfortable, intimate setting. To ensure that every detail is carefully arranged, our staff can meet with you to discuss the scheduling and planning of your special event.  Events are held inside the Museum, which consists of six separate galleries. Our space works best for cocktail-type events where your guests can stroll through the Museum exhibitions while enjoying bite-size fare and beverages.

The Museum of Making Music is unable to host the following types of events:

  • Birthday Parties
  • Weddings or Wedding Receptions
  • Bar or Bat Mitzvahs
  • Fundraisers
