The Saxton Family Foundation provides funds to purchase level-appropriate music for the group to rehearse and perform. This music library is housed at the Museum of Making Music and is named in memory of William and Violet Saxton. This grant also enables the group to commission original compositions from local composers who have an interest in composing for beginning string orchestra.
